Reduce the risk of infection to people around you. Wearing a face mask is certainly not a guarantee that you won’t get sick – the Covid-19 virus can also transmit through the eyes and tiny viral particles, known as aerosols that can penetrate masks. However, masks are effective at capturing droplets, which is a main transmission route of coronavirus, and studies estimate a fivefold protection versus no barrier alone. Save other people’s lives by wearing a face mask.

Remember: Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water!

We have designed this reusable face mask with a single layer fabric and a user friendly design. The face mask is made from Italian fabric and handmade in our production line in Italy. Traditionally used in triathlon suits, the fabric is made of skin friendly material that is breathable and comfortable to wear. The fabric has an anti-water and anti-splash treatment and is suitable for men and women, this protective face mask is perfect for everyday use.

Made in Italy fabric – 80% Polyester, 20% Elastomer. 100% breathable, weight 230 grams, ultra soft brushed microfiber backing, it provides long life stretch, superior shape retention, best breathability, good laundry-air-dry (LAD), soft handle and high comfort. Acqua Zero Water repellent treatment*.

*Acqua Zero Eco is a fluorine – free water repellent technology. Based on special hyper-branched polymers, this hydrophobic environmentally-friendly & PFOA free textile treatment provides a good water-repellent performance with low impact on breathability.

The SCICON mask is not a medical device or an individual protective device. An application with the Italian National Institute of Health has been made.
Manufactured on the basis of Article 16 Paragraph 2 of an Decree issued by the Italian Government on March 17, that authorises the production and distribution of filtering masks without CE mark and excludes them from prepossession of commercial standards. As of now, SCICON face masks are considered as “filtering screens”
SCICON masks must not be used in a hospital or care environment as they do not have the technical requirements of medical devices and personal protective equipment. The wearer must however comply with the precautionary rules on social distancing and the others introduced to deal with the Covid-19 emergency.
