It comes to you in a moment, the sudden realization that you’ve fallen in love with your bike. The first ride on an Epiphany 29 often results in that phenomenon. With a perfect match of active suspension and fast rolling 29†wheels, you’ll be able to tackle any and all trail conditions with aplomb.
The heart and soul of the carbon fiber Epiphany 29 frameset is the ACTIVE Energy Efficient Suspension. It’s a true four-bar linkage design that isolates pedal and braking forces from bump input. The result is a bike that pedals beautifully, yet soaks up the jarring impacts from the trail. Paired with the custom-tuned Fox DPS rear shock, ACTIVE delivers incredible traction and control throughout the 120mm of rear suspension travel. You’ll ride with more control and comfort, and you’ll get there faster and with less effort.
The Epiphany 29 employs a hassle-free, fully internal routing system to shield your hoses and cables from the elements, and a tapered head tube ensures strength and stability for your steering system. It takes a 34.9mm clamp-on front derailleur, a 30.9mm seatpost, a 73mm English threaded bottom bracket, and a Boost 12x148mm thru-axle rear hub. Complete bikes are available with Shimano XTR, XT, and SLX in both 1x and 2x configurations as well as a SRAM XO1 1x build. The frameset comes with a Cane Creek 1-1/8 – 1-1/2†semi-integrated headset and a Hex Taper 12x148mm rear thru-axle. It is recommended for use with a 130mm front suspension fork.
